The U.S. Memorial Day Service is an annual service to honor and remember those who have lost their lives while serving in the U.S. military. The service also highlights the shared history and sacrifices that the United States and New Zealand have made together.

 

This year had added significance as 2022 marks the 80th anniversary since the U.S. Marines arrived in New Zealand.

 

When: Tuesday, May 31, 2022 . The Service from 12pm – 12:45pm, light refreshments from 12:45pm – 1:30pm.

Where: Old St Paul's, 34 Mulgrave Street, Pipitea, Wellington.

All Wellingtonians are invited!
